Therapeutic effects

  1. The peripherally acting, nonnarcotic analgesics have several effects in common. These effects distinguish these agents from narcotic analgesics.
  • They are antipyretic.

  • They do not cause tolerance.
  • They do not cause physical or psychological dependence.
